First Choice Neurology: Marisa Prego-Lopez, MD

Dr. Prego-Lopez has been my families neurologist for the past 5 years , with improvement to quality of life. She provides an open line of communication in regards to recommended treatments , medication management and helpful tips . It is refreshing to have a doctor who wants to get the bottom of a problem. Also Maria (medical assistant) makes getting an appt. , prescription refills and simple request easily to retrieve. Amazing team!!!

The have the most awful patient service relations ever, and billing system. Stay away from them if you dont want your brain waves going off the chart. She will use lawyers to come after you.

If can rate a zero it would be a 0. I had one visit with her which I was referred by my insurance. I should have researched her before going to her. Please do not go to "Marisa Prego -Lopez" she do not care about your health. She is not professional, I suggest to her a reason why my condition is the way it is which she quickly dismiss me. I could not talk, I had to listen to her. She did not research my history of pain level. Wrote a prescription for an drug I never heard of, for me to take. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!! I felt like I received no level of concern of my situation to help me.

Avoid this Doctor as much as you can. Not only will they treat you like you were trash, but the “Doctor” Prego-Lopez is extremely unprofessional. We have had a horrible experience with her in three appointments and she evaluates my wife so badly that her personal doctor calls her on a weekend to request her avoid taking the medication “Doctor” Prego-Lopez prescribes to her. Waiting time was more than an hour on all three occasions. “Doctor” Prego-Lopez never really listened to my wife's problems/conditions before making any recommendation/suggestion, but jumped immediately to recommend an exam that “coincidentally” you have to do it there. There are hundreds of other Neurologists you can contact, this one will be a big mistake. I wish someone had told me this before I wasted my money and especially my wife's time. Avoid this “Doctor”.
