Bekins of South Florida

This company is actively participating in the movers scam. They gave me a "not to exceed" contract, marked boldly in large print. Once they loaded up all my furniture and drove away they demand more money than the contract. DO NOT TRUST THEM! The salesman walked thru my entire house and looked in every closet and cabinet writing every item down so they had no excuse. I thought using a well known company I was avoiding the scam but my furniture was held for ransom. The answer below says I had removed and then added back packing. This is not true, Bekins did not pack a single box for me. I did not say a room was not going to be moved then had them move it. When the salesman was doing his walk thru I said everything you see is moved. I didn't add any service or additional items. Bekins past reputation is why I hired them in the first place but past reputation does not apply to today apparently.

If you're looking for people that will provide you with respectful and professional service, this team has it. I dealt with Dan F. (by phone) and Paul S. (in-person consultant) during the process. Paul definitely went above and beyond what was required of him. He looked out for me and my family, spending time researching some of the companies that had given me competing quotes. It's actions like that that prove a company is in the business of serving clients rather than "just moving."

Nick and his team at Bekins did a fantastic job with our recent move. They were friendly and enjoyable to have in our home as they worked. They packed, moved and unpacked my father in law's things with care for his recent move. I have used Bekins several times over the past few years and they always do a good job. I highly recommend.

My family used Bekins this month to move out of our five bedroom house into a new home an hour away. Mike T came out first to give an estimate and was the height of professional. He was thorough, fair and answered all questions. We then had the Ever crew come out to deliver all of our goods to our new home. Every member was friendly and respectful. Alex L was in particularly communicative and wanted to have everything done correctly, all in the right places. I would def recommend Bekins for a big move!
