Worse service experienced in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Food was decent but server forgot drinks got order wrong and still add gratuity.

Good food, average service. Came in for lunch - we were staying in a nearby hotel. Found the food very good, had a nice mole sauce on my enchiladas, and wife and kids liked the tacos. Service was nice enough but disappeared, even though the restaurant was not busy.

BAD BAD BAD! The waiters were slow and confused. There were about five things on the menu, all ridiculously overpriced. $18 for a six inch quesadilla. $14 for the cheapest hamburger. The interior of the restaurant is extravagant but there was nobody there. I don't know how they stay in business.

Situated in the Sheraton on Seabreeze, this is a lovely place for brunch. It's a quiet venue with a warm feeling that makes you immediately comfortable. It's so hard to find real Mexican food in this city. This was a wonderful change from the usual "Mexican" fare that we see, which is generally a mixture of Cuban and whatever else people think is the same thing. I loved the plantain empanadas. I'm going to have to figure out how to make those, for sure! The huevos rancheros had an unusual addition of avocado slices, but I love avocado, so this totally worked for me. The eggs were properly cooked with a velvety yolk that ran over the tortillas and mingled with the sauce. We topped off the brunch experience with chocolate fondue. How can you go wrong?
