  • Welcome To IRL

I had 4 teeth removed including one impacted wisdom tooth that was on a nerve. He did a great job. I had fully recovered in one week. I would recommend him and his staff. They were very thorough in explaining all the pros and cons of wisdom teeth removal. I had no complications and am happy I went to Broward Oral Surgery Associates. Thank you Dr. Seider and staff ❤️ !

After Dr. Paul Seider removed my 4 wisdom teeth, I lost feeling on the left side of my lip. He kept saying it would potentially come back soon, and its been 8 years. I still can't feel anything. When I tried reaching out to them to see if they can transfer me to some oral surgeon to fix THEIR MISTAKE, I got a rude assistant on the phone, who refused to let me talk to him directly. She kept saying it was not their fault. What a joke. I've found many reviews online of people that lost feeling of some part of their mouth when dealing with this Dr. I highly recommend you go else where.

I was forced to hit a star in order to post this review... but I did not want to! Do not trust Dr. Paul Seider to ever treat you or ANY part of your family! Dr. Paul Seider pulled my wisdom tooth in what I was made to believe was a common surgical procedure. Upon waking up from the surgery, he told me "everything went fine." The next day, when I awoke, the ENTIRE LEFT SIDE of my face was numb, from under my ear to the middle of my chin. While it is made clear that this is a possible effect, it is also made clear that it is uncommon and is usually temporary. Dr. Seider gave me no plausible reason to think that I would not have a successful surgery. After a week, of no recovery, I visited Dr. Seider's office, on Stirling Road, and he immediately, wrote me a referral to travel to Shands-Hospital to see a Maxillofacial specialist, who was not covered by my insurance. Seider did not give me any reasons for the results. He did not apologize for my pain. He did not inform me, that when he reviewed my pre-surgical x-ray that my wisdom tooth was essentially resting on the nerve, and that surgery would not be beneficial or that the risks were high. He did not admit to cutting or even simply injuring my nerve during the procedure. So that I could move forward with valid information. He wrote the referral and left the room. He would not communicate with me after that meeting! Because I was desperate, I went to Gainesville to visit a Dr. James Ruskin. Upon my arrival, I was told that he was no longer working for the hospital staff, and there was nobody else, who could help me. My shock and dismay was beyond comprehension. This had hospital confirmed my appointment the day before arrival. Thus, adding that anyone Seider refers is also unethical. I was forced to travel to other specialists in the nation, who could only say that the Maxillofacial Surgeon who performed the procedure was negligent, and that there was clearly a breach in the standard of care. Before the surgery, Seider knew that the tooth was clearly sitting on the nerve. During the surgery, when there was, without a doubt, an element of malpractice. And after, when Seider knew legally to say nothing to his patient. Only he and his unprofessional nurse, would know exactly what happened during the procedure. Seider's drill either transected the nerve, stretched it or otherwise... resulting in permanent paralysis of my face. Nor would anyone admit a wrong-doing. They were silent. The injury caused by Sedier is permanent and has caused me emotional, physical, professional and financial detriments. This doctor will hurt you and your children. DO NOT GO TO HIM for any reason whatsoever. He is professionally repulsive, and has caused harm and trauma to more patients than just me. He mistreats his patients. Do not trust him. Do not trust his staff. Do not trust his diagnosis about your situation. Find somebody else. Dr. Paul Seider will cause you harm!
