A Kool Saver Inc

On December of 2018, I called this business for an estimate for a duct cleaning and insulation. A girl answered the phone and gave me the insulation price, and informed me that for the duct cleaning they would have to come and take a look so we set up an appointment for the following day. I missed work, for this appointment because I really needed the job done and they seemed like a very good and reliable company. I was in the kitchen when I heard banging on my door. I immediately got terrified and went to check who was banging on my door. When I looked out side I saw the truck that said a kool saver and a guy with a hat and long hair standing outside on his cell phone, and with the other hand trying to open the door of my home. I never opened the door with this terrifying man, who was banging on my door. I received a phone call later on that day from the nice girl and I explained to her the situation, and she immediately spoke to the owner, Antonio, and informed me that he would be coming instead to take a look and immediately apologized for the situation that took place. The next day was my day off so I was home all day waiting for the guy Antonio to come. He came around 3 pm and he informed me that he was so sorry for his sons behavior, that he was very embarrassed and that it would not happen again. He asked me if he could borrow my ladder and he went up inside my attic and took a look at my ducts, he immediately told me that they were in too bad of a condition to be cleaned and that they needed to Be replaced and quoted me $1700 for this job to be done aside from the insulation. I informed him that I had another AC guy who took a look about 2 weeks before that and told me that they only had needed to be cleaned. He immediately told me with attitude and that he didn’t care what the guy said and that he is the one who knows the most about air conditioning and started screaming saying that I wasted his time and gasoline coming all the way to my house For no reason and that I could have just done the job with the other guy if I wanted to believe the other guy over him. (I hadn’t done the job with the other guy because it was a friend who does only AC repairs and he does not have the right tools to perform the duct cleaning.) I told him thank you so much and I told him to please exit my residence. He then threw a rock at my window as he was leaving. And here I am writing this review because I really would have never thought that this would happen to me. Unfortunately things happen and I just want this to be known for the future. For whoever wants to do something with these people to definitely not do anything they are the worst. And not to mention that he also said “f you” as he was driving off. Terrible experience.

We had an agreement for R-30 insulation to be installed for 3,067 square feet in our attic space. Per the manufacturer of the insulation requires 13.6 bags per 1000 square feet to achieve R-30. This requires 41.7 bags to be spent. I shared detailed information with the owner, Antonio Bischoff and scheduled our appointment for today. Technicians arrived with only 34 bags in their truck. This is nearly 20% less than the required. After I spoke with Antonio on the phone, he realized that he can not cheat, and sent his guys away. VERY DISHONEST and disappointed!

An absolutely horrible company to deal with. No integrity. I will never have anything to do with A Kool Saver. If they were the last A/C company on the face of this earth, I would call the backyard mechanic.
