The Crab Trap

Absolutely loved our food!! Fried green tomato salad, macadamia nut encrusted, mahi, and blackened grouper. JJ at the bar!!! We will definitely return kudos to the chef!

We stopped a few months back only to have an unpleasant experience. Long wait for cold food staff and service was terrible. It was Easter and they had a special we were interested in, so we tried them again. We walked in, 2 tables had people. A rude server said be right there. We went to the bar instead sat down and continued to be ignored, with the staff walking past numerous times. We were finally handed menus, talked to rudely. We asked about an automatic 22% to the bill we were told that is required. We said thank you and proceeded to leave. On our way out the bartender said to the waitress, we need to make a living too. With that I asked about his comment. Becoming angry and aggressive he told me to leave. I stated a tip earned not a guarantee. We will choose the gratuity to leave and it will never be there!
