Went to Fickling..they are on any issues you may have..too many bad reviews for Suncoast or vbo...I thank God for reviews..they will work with you on what you can afford..the houses are better .every place has some issues..but it's much easier in my opinion to deal with happy ,than unhappy

Unreasonable 70% rate increase on already reserved vacation rental. Booked property in October 2022 for March 2023 1 week stay on St. George Island. Rental contract states rental rates are subject to change at any time so I was fully aware that a reasonable rate increase may occur. In January 2023 received email from Suncoast that rate has increased 70% on my previously reserved rental. When I spoke with Suncoast, I was told that the home had gone under a full renovation since my booking and that was the reason for the 70% increase. The reviews for the home on the Suncoast website show that major renovations were done prior to my booking. There are multiple reviews in July 2022, September 2022 and October 2022 that reference a full renovation. Furthermore, I requested that the homeowner honor my booked rate or offer a reasonable rate increase on my booking or I would cancel my reservation. Suncoast simply replied that they canceled my reservation and refunded my deposit. Suncoast and the homeowner should not have allowed reservations for the 2023 calendar year knowing that they would be unreasonably increasing the rental price on persons who had already booked and planned vacations.

Suncoast reality. St George island Florida Rented Prima Villa..looked good on the outside but the inside was awful.... Sink in bathroom was rusted all the way through, no towel holders next to vanity, ceiling light in bedroom out. Reported it on Saturday, they came and fixed it on Monday afternoon. Ceiling paint peeling off the ceiling in several places. House very dated. Furniture needs replacing. Couches, chairs, end tables, coffee table in terrible shape, just old thrown together stuff. Never again.
