Boardwalks from the pool area all the way to the beach. Older building with some wear and tear but very comfortable and well maintained. This is my preferred place to stay on the island. Book early.

3rd time being here. This time doing renovations everywhere. Did not let us know red tide was there as well. New updated system locked all my money down for 4 days. Won't go back ever. Very disappointed. Things broken in 2 different rooms. Plus charged a 5$ bed charge a day even though due to pandemic did not clean rooms or change bedding till check out

Yes, it's an outdated hotel but at least the room has a fridge, microwave and was clean. The staff were friendly. I would definitely stay again. The best part is the view of the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately they have Red tide there now.

We had a nice time here, but were not expecting anything fancy. It reminded me of the places we would stay going to Florida growing up. I can see how it could potentially be a bad experience, with limited housekeeping and pets allowed. A lot of smokers and they don't seem to have anyone to go around picking up the bottles and other trash that the guests leave wherever they go. The vinyl floors had to be swept of sand and you have to go down to the office for a broom. For us, we got lucky and it was fine. We knew it wasn't going to be the Westin. Our room had a nice view of the lighthouse. The room had a diner booth, fridge and microwave. We enjoyed the pool and the beach is right there. They have a little covered area to hang out in between the beach and pool. I found it to be laid back, you can easily wander from the beach to the pool to the room without hassle. I liked the vintage vibes and got slightly obsessed with the breezeblocks.
