Amazing dentist and person. Dr. Millman is super nice and friendly and is always happy to see his clients. I fell a few years ago and broke my front teeth. I called Dr. Millman at his emergency number at 5am on a Sunday when it happened and he told me that he will be able to fix it and gave me an emergency appointment on the morning of the next day. A couple of months later, after a few procedures, I have these beautiful crowns that look better than my real teeth did! He also gave me a huge discount to whiten my other teeth so they would match the crowns. I would definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Millman is an outstanding dentist! With his team they have helped me get my 60 year old smile back. I also was very nervous because I had moved from NY and had a lot of issues. I’d recommend him as a very understanding, comprehensive diagnostician who is not out for the money. The office is convenient and beautiful inside.

I went to Doctor Millman for some dental work, which I had been looking forward to for years. I was missing two molars, #13 & #2. At the initial consultation, Millman informed me that I’d likely need a root canal on #3 & #14. I went to the endodontist and got one root canal on #3, he said the other was not in need of the same treatment. Upon return to Millmans office for the crown procedure he felt along my teeth and mentioned, “this isn’t a very feminine feature”. Many of my teeth are very pointed and it happens to be a feature I like about myself. They proceed to molding my tooth and then shaving it down to the enamel. The assistant who installed the temporary didn’t place it correctly which made it seem too long, so by the time she actually placed it correctly she had shaved the thing nearly to a nub. It was hideous, so much so that he replaced the temporary several days later- which was still far more rounded than any of my other teeth. While at this appointment, someone cancels for a bridge. Immediately Millman starts trying to sell me on a bridge for the left side, where #13 is missing. I wanted to get an implant, also my dental insurance was going to be active about a month later so I wasn’t trying to rush into anything. Millman explained to me that I likely wouldn’t be a candidate for implants because my mouth was too small. And he made it seem like implants were far out of my price range as well. He also told me that he’d give me $200 off of the bridge if I came tomorrow. He really didn’t want to lose that (now) $2800! I asked if they would look like my real teeth (I was pretty iffy at this point, based on how my temporary came out and the sexist remarks) and he assured me that they would. I agreed. I went through with it, came back for my permanent crown on #3 at which point he tried to start out by rounding off some of my teeth. I asked him now, “Dr Millman can you please stop rounding off my teeth?!” He gave me some story about how my points were likely hitting each other, causing the tooth to die. I had never heard this in my 30 years of going to dentists. So now I have a first molar which is about half the size and a completely different shape than my other teeth! It looks terrible. Next I come back to get my bridge installed. At the end of the appointment, it looked to me like my root was showing in between the bridge and my gum. I gave it some time to heal up, thinking maybe it was irritated or inflamed. It only became more pronounced. When I went back for a check up, I asked Millman why. He told me, “most people don’t smile that big and expose their gums”. WHAT?! You told me this would look like teeth! And I paid you nearly $4k for this job?! So, I didn’t want to over react yet. I went for a second opinion. Millman still uses film xrays, which did not make it to my new dentist by the time of my appointment. However they were able to take a larger quantity, far better quality digital xrays. At this time, I was informed of five cavities. My new dentist told me that Millmans statement about my pointed teeth being a medical hazard to my other teeth is unfounded. Now I’m at point of being out a whole lot of cash and super unhappy with the results I’ve been left with. So I go to Millmans and ask for something to be done, give them the opportunity to make me a happy customer! Millman sat and listened to my complaints without acknowledging my presence. He then sends the receptionist back out to tell me sorry there is nothing they can do. I am beyond unsatisfied with the outcome of my patronage with Thomas Millmans dental practice. They are charging competitive prices while using Stone Age equipment and using biased opinions to make unwarranted judgement calls. Outrageous is what I call it.
