Clean It Up Tampa Bay

This company was surprisingly bad.I am visiting family. They have used this housekeeping service for service for years, and their house has always been very clean. Until recently. The cleaning service has been steadily declining - toilets or sinks forgotten, rooms only partially cleaned. The service used to include 6 hours of cleaning- 2 people for 3 hours, or 3 people for two hours. Apparently this is no longer their policy.The cleaning also used to include dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, cleaning hard floors, bathrooms including toilets, glass surfaces etc. It is unclear exactly what is included in their current policy, because so many things were left undone or only partially done.Two housekeepers spent less than an hour and when they left, the house did not look like it had been cleaned by professionals. (Their GPS said they were at the house for 100 minutes, but it is unclear why so much less time was spent inside.)The vacuum lines in the few rooms that were vacuumed indicated that someone haphazardly ran a vacuum around where they stood. One line down the middle of the hall. Some rooms were not vacuumed at all. Definitely not a professional job.The owner of the company said that the vacuums no longer leave lines, because they use new vacuums. It is quite obvious that the rooms without lines were simply not vacuumed. One bathroom was not cleaned at all. Again. The owner says that they have changed cleansers and some toilet rings will simply not come off. I was able to clean the ring with only a toilet brush, so I don't think it was the cleanser. Probably just an oversight.The hard floors were also disappointingly not cleaned like they used to be. The floors looked as if they hadn't been swept or mopped- just sprayed and wiped, and only in some places.They do not move chairs or clean under tables. Most of the trash cans were emptied, but all of those trash bags were stuffed into the kitchen trash, which was not emptied. Overall, it was disappointing that the house did not look or feel freshly cleaned, especially given the caliber of cleaning previously provided.This company does not offer refunds for unsatisfactory work. They did offer to send their housekeepers to redo the work that was not done the first time, but we declined that offer. Needless to say, we will not be using this service again in the future.

I am in awe of this wonderful cleaning service. They were able to clean my three bedroom 1,400-s.f. townhome in two hours, which was a deal! Jennifer is very sweet and very professional.  She was efficient and diligent.  It was my first time hiring a cleaning service and I am hooked!  The floors and bathrooms look wonderful!  Prices are very fair for the service! Thank you, CIUTB!!

I called Clean It Up Tampa Bay at the recommendation of a friend. After 9 days of phone tag & Lynn not returning my phone calls I hired another service who scheduled me promptly. This company may clean well (I wouldn't know) but their customer service in returning phone calls from new clients ridiculous! Maybe they have so much business they don't need more customers!

Clean It Up Tampa Bay started cleaning my home a few months ago (they already cleaned my office) and I must say, it is so nice coming home to such a clean house.  The team is very detail oriented and I love the choice of packages.
