Stayed here several times when I am in Deland; this is much better than then cheap budget priced roach hotels. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and have everything one would need. The breakfast is good, and it is close to everything. The fact that this is my 'go to' hotel in Deland, after several years, says it all.

On the plus side: fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. On the minus: In our room, the beds were hard as a board. No blackout curtains either. The toiletries were in extremely tiny bottles, the towels were small, and we could hear everything happening in the hallway. (I wouldn't have expected more had the price been lower, but at the price point I paid? Not acceptable. If I'd paid less than $100 I'd have been okay with it.) Staff was marvelous, no issues whatsoever with them.

Ive been a guest twice. Convenient location, even when traveling without a vehicle. A bit dated, however, the rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfortable. Spoke with other guests during my stay & was disappointed to find out that there are inconsistencies with guest services - on two occasions I made a request that was declined, yet later granted to another guest on the same date. Walkability: Near numerous shops, stores & restaurants. Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast included.
