Oct 12th: They answered: "We're pleased to advise that your claim has since been resolved". I am sad to say that nothing has been resolved. Money has not come to the physicians and this response is just air, no actions yet. My review still stands. --- Stay away from this company. It feels like a lack of executive functioning skills is rampant here. Maybe lack of staff too. They have had ALL the info for months and still no payment, months after. I am posting this as a warning to all NOT to use this company.

Overseas, I am encountering a second episode of nonpayment from GMMI. It is unfortunate since my hospital bills here are half the US price. They cannot afford to pay??? They need to get their act together as they have a poor reputation in Japan. Here is the email I received from my Japanese hospital yesterday FYI, we have been stopped for out-patient direct billing for GMMI due to lack of prompt response from the insurance company. Exceptional cases, such as emergency, high expense cases, we will discuss case by case. So in other words, you need to pay out of pocket for normal routine consultation day/ blood test, etc.
