We could not be happier with Kevin and Southern Stair! They built us a custom staircase for our new home and it came out fantastic! It is a L-shaped floating staircase. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship is second to none! They did a great job of installing it. They were on time and very reasonably priced. My wife and I highly recommend them!

Worry about your business and not the business of those around you! Sad that just because your bottom numbers are not lining up your trying to bring down your neighboring businesses. Word of mouth goes a long way and your pour attitude is going to make your signs come down eventually!! Normally I’m small business the goal is to all work together to build each other up. You talk about the self righteous in your other two replies. Have you looked in the mirror. Most unprofessional business around.

I sent southern stairs an email asking them if they work in the lake Nona area in Orlando fl, Kevin Jones answered my email and he said yes that they work in my area to send him at least six photos of my stairs and what I would like done. I sent him what he asked and I never got a replied back from him. This company has very bad customer service.

Edit: Let this owner's responses tell you everything you need to know about him and his company. Further explanation is unnecessary. Original Post: My experience was very similar to the only other review currently for this company, except I’m much closer to Southern Stair’s location. I called and spoke to Kevin, explained my job, and he gave me his cell number and asked that I send pictures. A week goes by, I hear nothing back. So I call again. We go over my job a 2nd time, I provide another picture, and he says he’ll get back to me. I never heard back from him, and after waiting a week or so I first texted and then called him. He didn’t respond to my text nor did he answer my call. Not what you expect from a professional company at all. Guess they’re doing so well that they don’t have to bother with courtesy. I would have much preferred him saying that he’s too busy, or my job is too small... but ignoring me is unacceptable.
