Lake America Family Physicians

been a patient of Dr Alka Aggarwal, at Lake America Family for 5 years. Called for an appointment , had to wait for two weeks. Had to settle for a nurse practitioner named Kelly, before I found out that Dr. Alka, was no long at that practice. At the appointment Had to wait 35 minutes, at 77 I had to deal with a condescending God like attitude. I will never return to practice where you receive such an attitude. Just want people to have a heads up.

I have been looking for a PCP and I found this place online. I made an appt originally for a specific day according to my schedule and they called me 2 days prior to reschedule bc the pavement was being redone that day and I couldnt park there.I asked if I could park elsewhere and walk there and they told me no. So I made an appt for the following week (today) at 2pm and they told me several times between both appts to make sure to be there at 130 to fill out paperwork. I get there 130 sharp and the door is locked bc they are in a meeting. I waited for almost 20 min along with another gentleman with an appt at the same time. He ended up calling them to see what was going on and they asked to move his appt to 230! I understand things happen but this was unprofessional and unacceptable. I left immediately. Thank god I had another appt at 2pm with another place that I didnt cancel 2 min away! I usually always cancel if needed but for some reason I didnt this time now I know why

Dr. Amit Aggarwal is an excellent physician who takes the time to explain things and is a very personable and skilled professional. His office staff is very pleasant and helpful. My husband sees Dr. Aggarwal as well and we both feel grateful to have this doctor managing our health.

Dr. Alka and Brandon are so attentive and care to listen to you. They take their time to rule out natural options before taking a medications to resolve an issue which I adore a lot because most doctors these days just pump you with pills and send you on your merry way. The front office staff is welcoming and checking in is organized and smooth. LaToya is really good at getting refill requests prompt and their Nurse Eli is absolutely extraordinary at communicating vis email or returning a call before end of day. I truly admire this office.
