I've purchased & sold several properties over the years and I have never had to deal with a title company as bad as Bay Title. The closing was delayed, but I understand that happens in the real world and they don't have control over all things that can cause delays. What they do have control over is doing what they say they will do. Over the course of a 5 week closing, I was told on more than 10 occasions that I would get an email or call back to answer my question/s or provide a status/update. Not once did I ever receive that call or email. I was totally ignored during the whole process. If I called, I would be transferred to a voice mail...leave a message and never get a response. I eventually had to insist that I NOT be transferred to the people in charge of my closing because they were never available and would never return my calls/emails. VERY frustrating and VERY unprofessional. I will avoid working with this title company again at all costs!
