I really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is so wonderful, the woman that greeted us was so nice. Bartenders pleasant and professional. But it was pretty much all down hill after we got seated at our table. The service was so slow. I'd be fine with slow service if the place was packed, but it was pretty much deserted. I wonder if the waiter was new, because he seemed very inexperienced. He didn't ask for drink orders, he didn't ask more than two out of six people on our table if we were interested in appetizers. I did love the appetizer of cheese and meat that our table ended up sharing. Then when it came to ordering food, they were out of several items on the menu. I could definitely live with that, knowing that they are a family owned company. But when we finally got our orders in, the wait was over one hour for the food, and few people at our table was happy with their food. We had under cooked duck, veal Marsala that was covered in too much flour, bland pork tacos. The steak was alright, and so was the salmon. But for the price and the wait I guess we expected a little more. The chef did come out and ask if everything was alright, and we didn't complain, mostly because we had already sat at our table for so long waiting for the food, we were a little impatient at this point and didn't want to make a fuss. I would perhaps come back to enjoy the music and have a drink at the bar, the place is absolutely lovely, but I will not be back for their food.

Fun atmosphere with a really caring owner. The owner personally helped us navigate our wine experience and was very enthusiastic about his menu and the quality of the ingredients.

Surprisingly upscale dining experience! Nice wine list, romantic atmosphere and first class food presented with a flare. Will return to try some of the great looking tapas.
