A-Awesome Airboat Ride

Captain Bruce was great. You can tell he truly cares about the wildlife and ecosystem unlike the larger airboat tour companies. A larger airboat tour company didn't respond to our call and we are glad they didn't. If it wasn't for that we wouldn't have had such a great tour with Bruce. If you're going to go on an airboat ride this is the go-to place.

Captain Bruce Jr. was awesome! This is a family owned business that loves the land they live on and love to share it with others. I had called and emailed one of their competitors and never got a response. When I called A Awesome Capt. Bruce Sr. was out on a tour and asked me to please call back later in the evening. He stated they wanted my business and to please call back. That showed me they valued my business. Don’t waste your time or money calling any of the big companies. When we were out in a wooded area Bruce was very careful by turning off the motor and hand guiding the boat thru the trees so we wouldn’t rub up against any of the trees and damage them. While we were sitting there another big boat company tour came back close to us and was running into several trees. You could see many scrapes and scars on the trees from boats running into them.

Top notch customer experience! Attention to detail- making sure people can SAFELY get on and off the boat as well equip everyone with quality headsets/ear muffs that have intercoms linking everyone together. With these headsets we are able to clearly hear each other as well the Captain as he names each species of bird, fish, hog we come across - as well even major characteristics of them! Captain Bruce navigated through the twisty cat-tail lined channels at high speeds in some sections barely wide enough for the hull- didn’t even spill my coffee. On flat ground and 5 people we achieved 58mph within a few seconds! The sound of the LS3 Corvette Engine and massive Carbon fiber prop are something to experience- the amount of air that prop PULLS from in front of it is unbelievable! Quickly you realize how this monster of a bath tub can go from Zero- 60 in a few seconds! I am a Florida resident and have a couple friends with air boats who could take us out for about the same price BUT I know with Bruce I WONT have a mechanical failure, or any issues that would turn the fun trip into a task nobody asked for. Not every boats built the same and not every captain cares for their equipment the same. I look forward to booking him again but next will be a backwoods fishing trip! Thanks again Captain Bruce!
