The Mucky Duck Restaurant

Great place to eat on Captiva, no matter what time of the year. Always one place we have to go to. Had the seafood platter. Everything was awesome! Was very busy and food came out fast. Fish was a little greasy but was good. Can't wait for the island to rebuild after Ian. I'm praying for all the other places!! Lovely date night! Sat at a picnic table by beach first with drinks then indoors for dinner. Excellent service. Had the Mahi Mahi and swordfish specials - delicious! Also shrimp appetizer and oysters very good! The wine based margaritas are killer!

The food was a little pricey, but it is the only restaurant open on Sanibel Island with a beachfront. Very friendly service and great food. The view was great! Would return next time we visit Florida. Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu and the staff was knowledgeable about food allergies, which made ordering simpler.
