To be fair the owner has health issues. However, I was treated as a nuisance. The project has had horrible communication. We weren't helped with design. Even though we paid extra for one of the company's designers. You would think they would have foresight in where electric, lights and such would go. Multiple mistakes. They have misplaced them on each place they put them. The project started over a year ago. It was a garage, a room addition, and later I added a foyer/porch. I only did one change order for that. My joists sat for months growing mold. They were still put in my project, even with my protest. I forced the company owner to visit back in June. He told me he was embarrassed and would take care of me. He did NOT. This was the most expensive mistake I have ever made. The project was overpriced for what I have received. This project is over $150k, you'd think they could at least be nice to me. This should have been a 3 month long project. Some of the subs were good. Some weren't. I have been living in one bedroom during this entire project and haven't had a kitchen since June. My furniture has been in storage. Our social and family life has been on hold. We haven't been able to have our grandchildren here because of living in a construction zone. I wish I could give a better review.

My wife and I had Kiernan Remodeling redo the walls in our living room, which were wood paneling that had been textured and painted to try to hide the paneling. We wanted them smoothed out, which was a substantial project. John clearly described our options to us and even gave us some thoughts on ways we could accomplish other, unrelated projects. The work was well done and the final result was fantastic. During the process they did a great job of keeping the house relatively clean and dust-free. They also accomplished the work exactly within the time frame they described for it. John clearly takes a tremendous amount of pride in providing quality workmanship that achieves the highest standards. In the end, we felt like we had a new space. We will definitely plan on using Kiernan Remodeling again in the future.
