I used One Love Doula for Placenta Encapsulation. They were very informative from the start sending informative info in benefits and the process of how its done. When it came time to picking up the placenta at the hospital there was plenty of communication and it went very swift. When I received my capsules it came in a box with the coolest picture of my placenta and the umbilical cord shaped as a heart dipped in gold and other things. I would definitely request services from One Love Doula in the future !

Loved, loved, loved my doula. While excited to welcome my little one into the world and preparing to get her here happy and healthy, I was also grieving my timeline expectations. I delivered early, not because my baby was ready to make her appearance, but because it was medically necessary. Christina helped me focus on the reality and not on the loss of plans. Both I and my hospital staff felt she was present but not intrusive. The nurses sang her praises. They knew I was supported but did not feel overruled. They felt supported by the support Christina gave me. She had to contend with my stubbornness. She knew when to push me a little more and when to step back and revisit something at a later time. She made sure my husband was involved in the process and that he didn't feel sideline and that he knew he was also a part of my support team. When advocating for myself was challenging, picking up on my cues, body language and words, she recognized when something in my environment needed to change and relayed that information to others in the room. Any future pregnancies, I will definitely be calling Christina to be sure part of my support team.

Having One Love as a part of our birth team was invaluable. Yamel and Marie were always available to answer questions, video chat and visit during each stage of pregnancy. It helped us feel comfortable with the unknown and reduce anxiety as this was our first baby. To be able to have their expertise, and access to their amazing birth education course helped prepare us for birth. I loved having the placental encapsulation services as a part of our plan and One Love made it a seamless process!
The team is incredibly dedicated to their clients. Yamel dropped everything to be present during our first stage of labour though she was not on call and Marie was an actual angel during birth. She kept us calm and provided the support I needed as the birthing parent, to have the safest delivery possible. There is no way that our family would have had the positive birthing experience we did without Maries calming presence.
Doula support is essential for prenatal, birth and postpartum care and there is no better team than One Love! We will be forever grateful for their presence during the beginning of our family.

I was referred to One Love Doula by a friend of mine and I had to thank her profusely for the referral. I reached out to them for support for my husband and I as we embarked on the journey to parenthood for the first time. I opted to have the two prenatal visits plan and they were so informative. They gave me lots of information about my options, helped me navigate a birth plan and all the things needed for a birth. My birth plan kept changing as my labor and delivery began with an unplanned induction; however, both Kaylin and Yamel were very available via text messages and guiding me through what I was experiencing. When I needed them most, I texted at 4am and Kaylin was ready and waiting and arrived at the hospital in less than an hour. She immediately sprung into action and helped me breathe through contractions. She also advocated for me with the nurses who either did not hear my request or ignored my request to complete a contraction before they continued their process. She cheered me on during the delivery and stayed with us until we got to recovery. Her support of myself and my husband was so crucial to me having a good labor and delivery experience. I would choose One Love Doula over and over again and refer them to everyone I know! It was truly an amazing experience working with them. Thank you all so much!
