We had a lovely experience with Virginia. From the moment we walked in the door she was supportive and encouraging. My son has never expressed interest in playing an instrument until he discovered violin! I have less than zero experience with any string instrument. After spending time at Barnes, with patient direction, and thorough introduction, my son and I left confident taking our first step on this new journey! He was very proud of his new [rental] instrument and to remember every detail of instruction. I was grateful for the smooth process and access to high quality instruments without the necessity to purchase. Their family business makes just starting a new instrument very accessible. I hope to be working with them for years to come!

The woman who works there is cold and will pressure you to make a sale when vulnerable shady. I dont recommend.
