When they came out to give me my estimate, I told him from the beginning, communication is key. I had explained that I had some problems in the past with lawn guys not returning calls or texts and that was very important. Let me say this, they did a good job when they did come and it was affordable, but from the day we hired him, we had problems. Initially, we did it on an as needed basis because it was early in the year and the grass wasn't growing as fast. Then when it did, I informed him that we wanted it on a biweekly schedule. He never came every two weeks as asked, nor would he let us know when he was coming (because he never came on the same day) nor would he return my calls or texts the day I sent them, asking when he was planning on coming so we could have our animals put up and the yard picked up. We were forced to keep our animals penned for three days the last week we had them because he said he was coming on a Friday and never showed, never texted or called until the next day when I had asked if he was coming and he said yes, but never showed that day, I gave him the benefit of the doubt because it rained, but never heard from him again. His had a habit of saying that he would be coming a certain day and then not show, not give us a heads up that things had changed or an explanation as to why even if I texted him asking what was going on. It had been 2 and a half weeks without mowing and our yard and overgrown mess. This guy was telling me about the customers he was having to let go because he had too many, so I thought that eventually things would straighten out, but it only got worse. He has too many clients, claims rain is an issue and doesn't communicate, rarely if at all
