Not a bad place, but it took just over 30 minutes for me to get my food. I know it was busy, but for this kind of place, it should not take this long to get food, in my opinion! With that being said, I found the food to be very tasty. I had the crispy herb wings, black sticky rice, and Thai iced tea. Everything I had was good. The staff seemed nice. They could have a better Thai beer selection. All in all, I think this place is worth a try if you happen to be in the area.

Had Tiger Cry. Beef was chewy and undercooked. Caused strong abdominal pain and bloating after eating.

Absolutely delicious chicken Pad Thai right inside (one of the) doors of Union Market! Ive been to Thailand a few years ago and eating here at Som Tam definitely brought me back to all those great memories, its amazing how food can do that. The only recommendation is to offer Chang beer however a Singha paired nicely with my meal. Highly recommend these noods ;)

I demolished the food before I could get a picture but this was hands down the best chicken pad Thai Ive ever tasted in Washington DC! Full of flavor, just the right amount of sauce to the noodle and the hint of spice added to the side was a kiss I never thought I needed. The chicken was still juicy Very sweet staff as well. Worth the winter walk from Capitol Hill
