Great service. Amazing cocktails. Interesting food. America Eats takes food staples and adds a vibrant twist. The restaurant and bar are very cute but it’s a bit loud when crowded as the space is fairly small. Three levels, all narrow but all well decorated and staffed. I’d go back for the service and cocktails alone.

The food was incredible. The wing meat fell off the bone and the cornbread has a unique brown sugar syrup on it. I had a burger for dinner, which was awesome. The food admittedly has a smokeiness to it, so don't eat here if that isn't your thing.

The only reason this rating isn't a zero is because there is no option for zero and the bartender was good. We decided to visit the restaurant as we are major foodies and Jose's reputation proceeds him but he should honestly be ashamed of this place and even more ashamed to be associated with the quality of the food they serve at his restaurant. We spent over $200 for three people and were served tiny portions and we left more hungry then when we came in. I ordered the lobster roll and lobster was decent but the ratio of bread to lobster was way off. Tiny pieces of lobster on an oversized roll. The brisket sandwich was tiny and appeared to be two pieces of pulled pork that was served cold. We also ordered a half pound of brisket and it wasn't anything worthy of Chef Jose. Sides and veggies were good but you can go to Arby's for a better meat sandwich. We'll never go there again.. absolutely terrible bbq.
