    Worst customer service on all fronts. The phone, face to face, via email or chat it's an all-around garbage experience I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. Nightmare to deal with. Cautionary tale! Dodge the trauma and just fly whenever.

    Train was late two times almost 2 hours and old dirty mattress stained asked for new mattress said dont have I would have to sleep on it conductor called and change room , did not have somethings on food and drink menu, windows dirty hard to see out of in general very dirty and old not happy with my trip from Springfield Ma to Tucson Arizona leaving on 22 February return trip hopefully it will be somewhat better I hope !!!!!

    On the Crescent. Nasty old train. Staff is abysmal, rude, aggressive and arrogant. They ignore clients having a medical emergency. They aren't even fully running trains. Amtrak is the new greyhound as now they force you on feeder buses for half your trip. Just drive or fly atp. Transportation sucks in this country. Nothing is efficient nor on time. Id never use Trak again.

    I am autistic, the train was 4 hours late, I had 5 min to get from one train to another in Chicago, requested assistance for handicap did not receive, was placed in front of a girl in escinaba whom has police called for smoking, drinking and screaming on the bus and they put her back on, there was 0 assistance on my way to my destination, was told by Amtrak I would receive a refund apon my return that they wanted me home safe first, I call back the employee clearly stated it was not there issue, call headquarters and I cannot get through...

    Riding AMTRAK the WORST TRAIN EXPERIENCE!Sleeper Train OLD, DATED and SMELLS! I bought a sleeper train w/c included room and food from a RESTAURANT TYPE Menu. Also included w/ this trip is our 1st time ride on the Acela train. Were really excited about this trip! Then few minutes before boarding, train was canceled due to a bridge issue they said. The 6:30p boarding became 9:30p. 3 HOURS DELAYED! grrrrrr 3hrs later, we finally boarded and was assigned to a room. The room STINKS! IT SMELLED LIKE A RAT DIED IN THERE. Attendant light on ALL NIGHT but no one came. WE WERE WEARING MASK IN OUR SLEEP! THIS AMTRAK TRIP IS TURNING OUT TO BE A NIGHTMARE instead of a dream train ride and a supposedly pleasurable trip. Then we were also told there will be NO RESTAURANT MENU ITEM for DINNER, BREAKFAST & LUNCH on this trip due to the delay. What?? We were celebrating our 43 yrs wedding anniversary that week and really looking forward to having dinner aboard the train. Instead we were fed snack bar items like cheese burgers, hotdogs, chips. I paid for the these restaurant style menu food items. I DEMAND A REFUND! Then to make matters WORST, the Acela train ride we were so excited aboutwe MISSED. We were 30 minutes away from Washington DC station enough time to catch the Acela train, then train simply STOPPED running. It was signal light issue this time. Another 45 minutes WAIT timeWE MISSED THE ACELA TRAIN of course! UNFORTUNATELY that 4p Acela was the LAST train that day We were told the next Acela train is @4a THE NEXT DAY. So we opted to take a NE Regional train insteadWAIT TIME ANOTHER 5HOURS THE WORST TRAIN RIDE EXPERIENCE EVER!! I DEMAND A REFUND!! THANKS AMTRAK FOR RUINING OUR VACATION!!
