        Due to Global covid19 virus epidemic and the economic fallout from covid19 virus . , we chose to close this location . Not that any of us where sick or anything. We thank the people who who bought food ,pizza in a respectful way from us .

        Look past the comic sans font and the odd name, Grand Opening Eatery is definitely among the best "jumbo slice" options on U-Street. The pizza is hot, thin and fresh with the right amount of grease. It also helps that the manager is always in a great mood and happy to accommodate. I head here for late night over the other options
