State Services Organization

I have used this facilities meeting rooms on many occasions. The rooms are high tech, recently completely remodeled, and spotless. Room setup and service by the meeting room staff is responsive and outstanding. Location makes it convenient for Capitol Hill oriented events--as close as you can get in a private conference facility. Catering is also available for lunch and coffee breaks. The rooms can be reconfigured into classrooms, conference tables or standup receptions. All in all the best and most convenient facility near the Capitol.

Handsome looking building right at the entrance to the Mall, several tenants including the National Association of Governors, the National Association of State Legislators, ABC News, and others.  The downfall of the building is that they rent to Fox News, thereby being a landlord to Satan.  I was impressed with the physical plant and the meeting rooms, all glass and tres modern.

Location, location, location is really what this facility has going for it.The Hall of the States is a facility run by the State Services Organization (SSO).  The Hall is mostly office space, but also has meeting facilities and is sometimes used as a filming location for films.I used to work in this building and the facility was well-managed and included a dry cleaner and small cafe-type place in the building.  The Hall of the States is mis-categorized as a caterer, but they will cater if you have an event there.  Located just blocks from the U.S. Capitol and Union Station, the Hall of the States is home to many Washington offices of the fifty states, U.S. territories and associations of state officials.
