Great place overall. The bar and dining areas are separated enough that a Friday night college crowd at the bar was not disruptive to the dining room. Food was delicious, I had the tacos. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 More

Very attractive space, super sweet server who cast Harry Potter spells with a straw on my wand-toting, Griffyndoor robe clad 4 year old; food came so fast I was suspicious but brunch (avocado toast with over easy egg, steak and eggs, pancakes) was extremely competently prepared; coffee was nice and strong. I need to come here more often. No offense to busboys and poets but this place deserves more of their business. Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly, kids even eat free on Tuesdays Parking: Ample parking by the Brookland station on the other side of Monroe.

Ailly is the best bartender!!! Happy hour is pretty sweet. Great sour beer selection as well.

Had a lunch meeting here and the atmosphere was perfect. Not too crowded and overwhelming, peaceful. The bartender was also the waiter and was not too worrisome but attentive. Had the nachos no meat and a margarita. They were out of a few popular tequilas at the time of my visit, but all in all I would definitely patronize again.

Let me start by saying this place used to be a great neighborhood staple. I never want to give anyone a one star review but this was truly a horrible experience. When we walked in we were told that the kitchen closes at 10. It was 9:30. We were able to be sat at the bar, however upon arrival both bartenders we VISIBLY drunk; both, stumbling and slurring. It took them 10 mins to get us water and to take our orders. She asked about 5 times what we ordered and said she would check in on it (of course she didn't). Once our food finally came.. it was in to-go containers. Aside from the service the female bartender kept screaming across the bar for assistance and treated servers and the host absolutely horrible. The food was tasty yet definitely did not deserve the price point it was at.
