Maryland Best Movers

If you are moving out of Maryland do NOT use this company! Their initial price was very modest, but when they picked up my emotionally challenged brother's one bedroom stuff they essentially doubled the price and insisted on immediate payment, Then though they promised delivery in 3 weeks, they took over 8 weeks! Only when we called the police and accused them of stealing my brother's earthly belongings... the police sending us to consumer affairs, did these scammers FINALLY call to arrange delivery. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. AVOID these scammers!

I never ever leave a review but after this experience I had no choice. Its been 12 days since my stuff was picked up moving from DC to Denver. They still have not given a time I can expect my stuff. The sales office, which also takes customer service calls, is a joke. Its a bunch of kids, with no respect or professionalism, that provide zero help. To me it seems like this isnt a real company; they take calls and charge the actual moving company for arranging the business. Sounds like a few kids hustling to make a buck, not a professional company you want to trust with all your belongings. At this point we are just praying our stuff arrives. Read the other poor reviews and its easy to make your choice. Choose someone else.

I truly have never experienced such an unprofessional company until we used Maryland Best Movers. As we planned our cross-country move, we spoke to a seemingly nice guy who got our deposit money and scheduled movers to come to our apartment from an outside company. Once the movers came and took our stuff, that "nice guy" was impossible to reach. ALL of our belongings were NO WHERE TO BE FOUND for a month. When I called Maryland Best Movers to see when our belongings would arrive, they had no idea where the truck was or when our belongings would be arrive. Not only did they have nothing to say, they were unbelievably rude and dismissive. "Be patient and wait," they told me. That was said after no one could track our truck for 3 weeks after it was picked up. Trust me when I say, go with a different company.

Do not use this company. I repeat, DO NOT ISE THIS COMPANY. After getting to our apartment at a reasonable time they informed us that when we include a bed in what needs to be moved - the mattress is not included... when they tape the boxes they charge you for how much tape is used....those are just two things out of plenty. After getting to our new house the movers scratched the walls up messed up our tv stand, but when we told them they basically said to take that up with the office. Come to find out I am blocked from reaching the managers even though they said to call anytime. (Specifically Christina).. do not use this company pick something else. Service: Local moving

They took my stuff on Thursday. It is now Sunday. I called them, texted them and emailed them multiple times. I have no idea where any of my stuff is or when/if it will get to me. Thanks for the horrendous service!
