I had a craving for Jamaica food while visiting DC from the Bay Area. My hosts happen to live very close to this restaurant and so we gave it a try and picked up some takeout today. We had the curry goat, jerk chicken and brown stew chicken meals. The curry goat and jerk chicken were fantastic and match or exceed my favorite Jamaican restaurant in the Bay Area. The brown stew chicken didn’t hit the same heights for me but was still pretty good. The portions were also very generous for the price and we got 2 filling meals out of a single order. We also had the rum cake which was nice and moist and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner was very friendly and helpful with my order. If I lived here I’d eat here all the time!
