I recently had a really bad experience at Curry & Pie. My family with small baby and I decided to do a food takeout and ordered tea to drink at the restaurant while we waited for the food. The waiter who served us gave us a bad table to wait and told us we could sit there until the food arrived and have tea. However, after some time, the waiter came and told us to vacate the table as they needed it for other customers. I tried to explain to the waiter that we were paying customers too ( we tipped as well on full order) and shouldn't be asked to leave just because we were drinking tea. We even emphasized that we were waiting for our takeout food and were planning on taking it with us. However, the waiter seemed uninterested in our explanation and simply asked us to leave. To make matters worse, there weren't any new customers who needed the table. It was clear that the restaurant simply wanted us out of there so they could free up the space. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service and treatment we received at this restaurant. We were paying customers and deserved to be treated with respect and consideration. I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
