Fragomen was an established name in this business. However, our recent experience with its DC office made us consider a lawsuit against it. My G4 EAD expires in early Feb., 2022. Fragomen provided me service for the renewal, and it turned out to be the worst nightmare. Fragomen confirmed that my application package was received and good for submission in early Sep., 2021. I thought my application was submitted at that time until Fragomen contacted me in late December! Fragomen told us that they forgot to submit my case due to a transition period. Actually, they did not even admit in the first place until I asked for the original USCIS receipt. Thanks to Fragomen, our Christmas and new year plans were totally ruined. Fragomen cannot do anything to expedite the case, it was my G4 sponsor who contacted OFM after the late submission. Unfortunately, my new G4 EAD still did not come in time due to such a late submission. Fragomens poor service brought a huge disturbance to my family. I am not sure if the management of Fragomens DC office aware of this issue. I understand people make mistakes from time to time, but what surprised me is it took about four months for them to discover the issue. It seems an indicator of poor management. I am now communicating with my G4 sponsor (our human resource department and employee association) about this issue. Given my experience, Fragomen is NOT qualified for being a vendor for G4 EAD service. We at least should make sure it will never happen to anyone in our company again.

I know most of the employees don't have control over which law firm to work with. But please REVIEW all the application' details before Fragomen submits your application since I and my HR found a lot of critical problems in the h1b application. Also, my company requested COS (Change of Status) for my h1b, however, Fragomen did a "great" job filed my h1b under Consular Processing, which I have to go to other country to activate my h1b. Once I saw USCIS's approval for the Consular Processing, I had a panic attack. I wonder what kind of lawyer and firm could make a mistake like this? And of course Fragomen acknowledged it was a mistake they made and decided to file another application for premium. However, again, we found a lot of mistakes in the new application and were able to correct them luckily.
