Favorite workout spot in dc! Right around the corner from Metro center station and next to the whites house! There are three classes, lab (think HIIT classes), climb (think soul cycle but on a stairmaster), and fusion which is a mix of both! Full showers, makeup remover wipes, deodorant, Bobby pins and more! And at the end of every class they give you fresh cooled eucalyptus towels and free coffee is served daily.

When something costs more than you have don't do it. This guy cannot do basic math... We are all rooting for you to fail. Still I am confused how you can add and subtract calories so well but cannot do the same with money... Yep you suck.

I was never much of a fitness class person but have really enjoyed both Pulse's Lab and Climb classes. They are high energy and high intensity 30min classes, which are great when you are pressed for time but still want to squeeze in a workout. Each of the coaches has a slightly different style and they continue to feature different themed musical climbs and fun competitions (i.e. Queen vs. Prince, Cardi-B vs. Nicky, etc.). They run multiple promos for class packages and continue to expand and test their class formats. They recently added a Performance Climb that focuses on quantifiable climbing metrics, which is another way to focus your workout. In addition, the staff are very well informed about the latest fitness techniques and trends. The gym is clean, organized and well stocked with top-of-the-line products (like complementary coffee!). They are very much a team and everyone at every role is willing and able to help out newcomers. It's safe to say I'm hooked!

Literally felt like I was flying through Shafer’s class. High energy, motivating, low impact - all around fantastic workout and good environment

I really enjoyed working out here! It's a HIIT gym with a cardio component in the climb machines. Challenging but with good music and a good instructor to keep me engaged! (Used classpass to attend)
