Dave and his team did an amazing job renovating our basement. They delivered the project within a week of the contract time, but that delay was due to our choice of flooring not being available yet. I cant say enough about the quality, the competitive pricing, the ease of working with them, and the professionalism. We will definitely be contacting them for future projects.

The person I spoke with was not courteous at all. At the very beginning of the phone conversation, he sounded as if he did not want to be bothered with me after setting up a phone appointment with me. I told him that I had two things that I wanted to speak about. After saying the first was painting he quoted me a ridiculous price saying he was a general contractor not a painter and that he charged more for that type of service. And that I could find it cheaper from someone who only does painting. In my opinion, that was flat out rude. I was so disgusted by his rudeness I discontinued the conversation immediately. I didn't even get into the larger project I wanted done. I knew right away he was not the person to work with.

Something Different Contracting did a wonderful job building a sunroom on the back of our house. We hired them because of Daves expertise, responsiveness, and transparency, and we appreciated that throughout the construction process. Our project manager Amilcar was on site quite often and was awesome to work with - always helpful and patient when questions or hiccups came up, and his crew was great as well. They were skilled, professional, and went the extra mile to ensure the air quality was as good as possible for our two little kids during construction. The work took longer than originally projected, between the supply chain and a couple weeks off on both sides due to illness etc., so we spent a lot of time together, but it went well and was all worth it! Thanks to design decisions made with the knowledge and experience from SDC the new room blends almost seamlessly with our old 1920s house, more than we ever thought possible. Were so happy with it and are glad we chose SDC.

We had a great experience with Dave and his crew and have a beautiful home that was delivered on time even during the COVID pandemic.
