St. Arnold's on Jefferson

We came here for fathers day me wife reserved a table for us late at night. These were the best mussels Ive had and the fries were smacking too. I got the house special mussels which were to die for. Kat was our server and was absolutely amazing all night and was fun to talk to, and extremely quick. Would 110% ask for her again to wait on us. The bees knees drink was definitely my go to as well. Overall so excited to come back down to visit here one of my favorite restaurants for sure.

I've just moved to DC from Belgium and was very happy to find this place. Jim has one of the most extensive Belgian beer offerings that would put most bars in Brussels to shame!

Racially profiled and bullied. Me and my other Asian friend peeked inside at midnight hoping to wind down a long day with a simple beer. We were greeted with a warm "What do you want??" and "Let's get this over with" when we presented our IDs. The bartender pored over our (legitimate) cards, insisting that IDs these days only last for 3 or 4 years (which is nonsense) and that my friend's Oregon card was the "worst she's ever seen." When she finally handed back our cards, she said the pub would close in 10 minutes (I'm sure she meant 2 hours) and we left as quick as we could. We were completely sober, cooperative, and of age. Wasn't expecting to be marginalized on a Sunday evening, and I'll be warning anyone under 5'7" with an ounce of melanin to avoid this establishment.
