DO NOT GO!!! We were so excited to have a new restaurant open in the neighborhood. We went on a Saturday night, two adults and two children. We should have taken heed when walking past the valet parking guys , we heard a man talking about his experience. "You guys have only been opened three weeks, but the food we had was not good. You need to work on t he quality of the food." We went anyway. Seemed that everyone in the place was new to restaurant work. Our waiter, barely spoke when he came to the table. We order drinks and food at the same time. One house salad, two hickory burgers and one cheeseburger (medium) one veggie burger and the 12 oz. prime rib. We asked if we could get one of the burgers to go and were told they don't do take-out. I told the waiter to bring the burger and we would put in a leftover box. BLANK STARE.... Gets worse. My salad came out-iceberg wedge with blue cheese and bacon. Told the guy it was not my salad. Stood there trying to figure out what to do. I told him to bring the house salad. Waiter came back with the take-out box and told me to hide it and put the food in later. Next came our meals...One veggie burger, one prime rib, and three hickory burgers. Hmmm. Found the waiter and told him the order was incorrect. We ordered a cheeseburger. "Let me see what I can do about that." Took it away and 5 minutes, I kid you not, he brought out the cheeseburger. My son's friend was too shy to mention it. But I noticed he was not eating very much. The cheeseburger was raw. The rest of the food was average at best. I asked the waiter to get the manager and shared our experience . He, too was young and seemed new to working in a restaurant. He apologized and took the cheeseburger and salad off the check. I told him that it was most likely the waiter who screwed the order. So after paying a still hefty bill, we walked away feeling very disappointed that the quality of food and service was bad. So, if you want a meal that is edible and good service, walk across the street to McDonald's. You get what you pay for.

My husband and I arrived late for our reservation, due to the usual traffic nightmares in the DC area. The valet was not at his post when we arrived. After a minute or two he showed up. Our waiter was very nice and since we were in a time crunch, he made sure our food and check were expedited. When we went to leave, the valet was again MIA. We waited and then I went back inside and expressed my concern for the delay. We had to be at NBC studio and needed to leave. The host was very nice and worried for us. He told me he would find the owner. It took about 10-15 minutes to find the valet. No other cars arrived during this time that would have held him up, so he must have been goofing off. Our experience with this restaurant was really good, except for the valet. I don't recommend you use this service but do try the restaurant because the food was great and the staff excellent.
