SunTrust

This is the only location I will come to. The people are professional and friendly. I've had several complicated issues and they have been more than willing to help resolve them. This location reminds me of the way banking used to be! As a follow up, I received a letter from SunTrust that this location will be closing on March 1, 2019. Also they have their hours of operation and no longer offer evening hours. The one decent ATM that can actually read checks is within this location. The SunTr ust one mile away has a machine that is outside and on a corner. Really fun when the weather is inclement. Inside, the branch is filthy and when the line is long inside, people at the desks come out to tell you that the tellers "will be right with you".

I confess that one of my coworkers recommended this Sun Trust bank (inside of the Georgetown Safeway to me) and referred me to a family member. I took advantage of the chance to open a checking account with this bank due to my interest in having more than one checking and savings account. Currently, I am with Bank of America and I obviously intend to stay with that bank. However, I also plan on having a second account with Sun Trust bank (to increase my savings) and I'm satisfied with the service I got from one of the employees who helped me open a Sun Trust Checking and Savings account. I was at least notified ahead of time how much money at a minimum that I was going to need to open a Sun Trust account (which streamlined the process and made it easier).I
