Danielle's Desserts

I arrived just they were closing and the selection was limited. What I did get was very good.

I must admit the desserts are good at Danielle's, at least at the one in Tyson's; the business in DC, another story! For the first time I did business at the DC store and it was the worse experience. The cake $72.00 9 inch cake I ordered was not ready on time; in fact, we returned 3x on the day of pick-up only to be told it was not ready, or they were icing the cake...lastly we were told they would now have to deliver the cake. I was to pick up the cake at 5:00PM, we were on time. Instead it was delivered to me the next morning at 12:15AM....7hrs later, a lot of phone calls on my end....none from the store=POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! With all that happened the manager of operations (Elna) didn't offer any consolation...poor, poor, customer service. I'm big on customer service even if the other aspects of the business aren't so great....a business should always deliver the best customer service...the DC store did not! The VA store is much better and understands the value of time. I'm disappointed and will not do business here!!!

Wide range of pastries, incredibly friendly service, and an overall enjoyable environment. Would highly recommend!
