It's a good area but I been having problems since I moved in here since last year of December problem haven't been solved yet

Be warned prior to moving here- I have lived here for two years and everything has gone downhill the last 12 months. The management team consistently does not meet acceptable expectations related to poor upkeep of the building/amenities and poor communication to residents. There are ongoing maintenance problems in the community such as month long waits for fixing washing machines, elevators, garage security, and microwaves. I love the gym and front desk staff, its a beautiful building, but the residents of Ava NoMa are frequently frustrated with the maintenance/amenities considering how much rent is here. I want to speak on behalf of my fellow residents frustrations and my own, as displayed on the Ava NoMa private community Facebook page. I only hope Ava NoMa can address the issues that people have paid hard earned money to have addressed.

We had Vinny from maintenance come fix two big problems: AC not working and smoke detectors not working. He came quickly and fixed both issues in 10-15 mins. He was so friendly too! Thank you Vinny

I just finished a tour here and this was quite possibly the most unprofessional leasing staff Ive ever encountered. I arrived early for my appointment and followed the directions in the email I was sent when I booked the appointment. Imagine my shock when I ring the bell as instructed and the entire leasing team just stares at me instead of opening the door or buzzing me in. Fortunately for me, some tenants were coming in, so I was able to enter the building. I told the team I was there for a 2pm tour appointment and was told to wait while they finished their meeting. I use quotation marks because Ive never heard of or seen a leasing team having a meeting where theyre discussing tenants in the middle of the lobby. After waiting for 20 minutes, someone tells me that Marcus will be right with me. When Marcus gets with me, he gives me the key and fob and tells me that this is a self-guided tour. So they had me wait for over 20 minutes to walk myself around the property. When I came back from my short tour, no one asked a single question about how I found the property, my preferred move in dates, nothing. Its a nice building, but the team is horrendous. Live elsewhere, unless you like your leasing team rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional, then this is the perfect place for you.
