Absolutely HORRIBLE surgery center!!! Ive had over 40 procedures that required anesthesia 20 of them were surgeries. Someone from the anesthesiology department always calls to go over my procedure and ask questions about my history. That did NOT happen at Limestone Surgery center. I called 3 separate days 4 times total (have call log to prove it)and left a voice message with anesthesia and nobody returned my phone call or picked up the phone. When I spoke with the front desk and inquired about the fact that I hadnt heard from anesthesia, they told me that somebody would reach out to me. The anesthesia department called Friday morning the day before my procedure, which was on Monday and left a voicemail. When I returned the call, nobody answered the phone again, and didnt call me back. The voice mail they left stated to just fill out your patient portal. Filling out a patient portal does not take the place of speaking to someone in the anesthesiology department.
The day of my procedure I arrived and anesthesiologist, Dr. Randall stated that she was not going to do my procedure because I have one vein (I have an port) and drug allergies. She kept saying she was very experienced and knew what she was doing. However, this is the only location that Ive ever had an issue with the anesthesiology department. Ive never had any surgery center cancel my surgery, ever! This woman refused to do my surgery. She said she was uncomfortable putting me under. But she kept repeating how experienced she was. She said we dont know anything about you, but they had the information from my doctor when I arrived. I told her that someone from her department shouldve returned my phone call if they had any other questions. I wouldnt have a surgery there, even if it was free!! I ended up having my surgery at Christiana surgery center which was excellent!

Great facility! Easy to navigate. Plenty of parking. Dr Kalish for gallbladder removal surgery is compassionate, caring and has exceptional bedside manner. He answered all my questions and even brought up ones I didnt think to ask. He has surgical privileges at multiple locations and was able to accommodate my requested hospital. Now waiting for callback with available schedule time but overall impressed with staff, doctor and clean facility.

Great experience with my Doctor and procedure. The staff are pleasant and professional. I would suggest you do your due diligence to insure the provider of anesthesia (person who put you to sleep) are in network with your insurance.

I had a perfect experience here from beginning to end. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They are efficient as I did not have to wait long once I arrived. The nurses are wonderful and my procedure was flawless. I even got a snack when I was back in recovery. The only issue is the waiting room is a little small, but that's minor. Great facility overall.
