Avis Car Rental

My car was in the shop. I received a new model Chevy. It was in great condition. Low mileage and very clean. They billed my insurance company for the rental. It was very convenient and the staff was quite Accommodating. An outstanding experience.

I will never rent from this place again First of all I went and waited hours to pick up a rental that I prepaid because they had this older lady there alone who was moving like a snail and at first I felt bad for her that she was there by herself when I picked up the rental as well as when I returned it. I had originally rented the car from a Monday to Thursday for $168 then on Thursday I called and asked Stephanie how much would it be to extend it until Sunday she stated they were closed on Sunday so I asked how much till Monday she stated it would be 59 So I said cool and she charged my card but I had to call back because I didn't have the funds on my card so I had to transfer the funds over to my credit card. Then today I received a receipt stating the total amount was 478.24 So I called for an explanation and was told its because I extended the car but that's not the price I was quoted spoke to a manager who all she had to say was it was a miscommunication and she sorry but you don't mis communicate when your dealing with people money. Also they don't clean they cars and they don't maintain them either the oil change light was on!!! Do not rent from this location go to Philadelphia Airport service is much better and the cars are clean and maintained and they actually knows what they are doing!! I will be disputing the additional charges with my credit card and they can have Stephanie pay for the additional/miscommunication! Stay away from this location!

Don't rent from Avis in Wilmington, DE. A real jerk works there and has 0 (zero) Customer Service skills!
