Everyone here is friendly and looking to help you out however they can. Welcoming environment to shop for things and I’ve had them help me out different times at the store with questions or things I needed even when I didn’t buy anything.

Greene Hill Farms Estates worked out great for us. Our new home was completed in April and we moved in on May 16th 2020. If you're looking for a quality built home then i do recommend them. Denise is a great person to work with during your building process. She still keeps in touch after the closing and that says a lot about her character. Other people don't want to take your calls after closing because they're paid. Eddie is the site manager and he is really there monitoring the build as if it's his own home going up. We did our own home inspection after closing and the inspector gave them great reviews for the work completed. He found some small things but nothing major and Benchmark fixed them at my 30 day mark of being in the home. If you talk to Denise, tell her my review sent you to herðŸ˜.

Been considering buying a Benchmark Builders Home since February March 2018 however recently I notice that they only seem to care about $$$$. The homes are already a little pricey then some of the other builders in the area and with basic contractor grade finishes. Don’t let the model home fool you. If you want to upgrade those finishes the cost are way overpriced. Add another 120k on the price of the home if you want the model. Other builders will give you it all with the exception to a smaller lot for less. Even with that said I have been in talks with Benchmark since March on purchasing a home and attempting to get reasonable accommodation to HOA rules. We were even in talks bout another property possibly coming available soon. However I was recently told the price is going up 20-30k on the base price of the Eden model which we selected. However the housing markets are going in the opposite direction as sales become stagnant and interest rates continue to rise. That rise in base pricing doesn’t include lot premiums and options, etc. When asked why the price increase, I received no response. Initially when we started looking there the price was I believe 359k over the past 9 months it’s gone up to 368k. However on 12/14/18 I was told 363k then on Monday 12/17/18 I’m told the new price 386k. Base prices people, no upgrades, not premium lot fees. I even asked to verify was what I heard correct. Sounds like greed IMO. If that changes or is correct I update or delete this post. It has taken over month just to get updated basic pricing information we asked for nearly weekly and we still haven’t gotten all my questions answered or a price sheet sent to us. meaning there’s nothing in writing recently. Previously early this year I was able to get one after sitting down in the office for 5-10 min. Now it seems impossible. This hasn’t been a pleasant experience and borderline disrespectful. I have been feeling that Benchmark doesn’t value your time nor appreciate the efforts perspective out of state buyers put into try to purchase a home. As it seems I have been the one making all the effort and getting lack of communication back. Maybe I should have looked into them three years ago when base prices where $60k less soon to be $90k less. Yet Delaware still had a major foreclosure problem even in 2017. If anyone from benchmark builders would like to contact me, or correct any miscommunications that would be also and well appreciated. All we are asking for is to be treated to respect and given honest answers in a timely manner. I am willing to remove and or update this review if our situation changes. We just think others should know. Update: June 2019 Still nothing new from Benchmarks Sales team. I email them ever 6-8 weeks in regards still nothing. I did in January get a backhand apologies nevertheless just appeared to be a bunch of lip service. When I stopped in in March 2018 there was a new sales rep there an when I mentioned my situation he revealed he new nothing about it even though I was in communication with the overall sales manager only days before. What does that tell you.... Richard Julian has personally attacked our business on google with a 1 star review with no comment which eventually was removed after we threaten to have our lawyers contact them. Now ever since we been getting fake 1 star reviews from non customers with no profile pics or history’s of reviews.
