This company did my hardwood flooring in January 2024. First, I want to thank my neighbor Rob. It was he who recommended Donald G Varnes Company to me. Rob said: This is a trusted local company. They do a great job! Yes, it's true! Many thanks to Steven for the estimate. He gave me the plan of Half And Half option. This way I no longer had to worry about moving furniture out or back. The estimate is very detailed! ! ! The price is very reasonable! Big thanks to Alan for managing all the work! High level hardwood floor work! I am very satisfied! ! very satisfied! ! I would also like to thank all the workers. They really knew what they're doing under Allen's guidance. Each of them is a hardwood flooring expert. What a great company! How lucky I am! ! !

We first used Donald G Varnes & Sons more than 20 years ago and received outstanding refinished floors in a prior house. recently Varnes & Sons finished another and bigger job for us, that is, our first floor wooden floors were 21 years old and needed refinishing and we wanted to add fairly extensive wooden floors on the second floor where there was carpet before. Another excellent job. We are very pleased with the work, the colors match, the workers knowledgeable, personable and easy to work with. If the need arises, we will definitely use Varnes & Sons and we highly recommend them.

I recently completely remodeled my kitchen. As part of my remodel, I had kitchen tile removed and replaced with hardwood flooring. The kitchen is open to the family room and dining room which already had hardwood flooring. This contractor feathered in the new hardwood with the old hardwood, sanded all rooms entirely and stained/sealed the newly finished floor. Now that you understand what was done, let me give this contractor the BEST review I can give. Why? They called when they said they would. They arrived for work when they promised. The completed the work exactly as contracted, on time and were very professional. The workers who arrived to do the work were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened and acted on all of my requests and requirements. They cleaned up after themselves. This company proved to be a great adviser when I had questions. I give them an A++ for the work they performed. They were the best of the best when it came to my kitchen remodel subcontractors. Would use them again and recommend them without reservation. The floors? Stunning.
