Mike's Flooring and Design Center

Specifically drove to mikes based on reviews and being an engaged owner on google reviews. Quickly found exactly what I wanted. Learned that they require (regardless of room size) a site visit to measure. Little frustrating as it’s a laundry room and not that complicated but I’ll trust the process. Set up the on-site visit weds at 4pm. Never showed… never called. I left a voicemail in which received a text apology and request for reschedule. On Thursday morning before 7am I offered two time slots at 4pm both that day and today (Friday). Employee (Jodi) quickly acknowledged and advised “Let me get in and check my schedule and I’ll get back with you thank you Friday looks possible around four.” 35 mins before 4pm I receive a text “Did you want me to measure your laundry room today?” Sharing for awareness not only by the experience but this is a vacation home in which I need to maximize every minute trying to balance my vacation/family time with work and getting things done. This may not be the best choice provider unless you’re very accommodating, flexible and patient. I am a consumer who is action focused and lost multiple days which by now hoped to had this scheduled and installed quickly. It was easier for me to have 121 square yards of carpet just installed. Recommend Floors and More INC in Lewes.

Jody was very helpful in assisting us with the selection of new carpet for two bedrooms in our rental unit. Our install date was came quickly and the carpet looks beautiful. Good price, too.

Eight months after Mik's installed my floors, I am just as disappointed as the day they left with the job unfinished. I had to have them come back three times for things unfinished. They refused to put my trim down that I paid for because I would not pay for a terrible repair job ( over $900). If that wasn't bad enough, I called them twice to get someone to come fix the laminate that has buckled in my upstairs bathroom two weeks ago. They have yet to call me back. This is a job of over $9,000.000. Please spend your money with a company that will give you good customer service. Out of all the times I told them I was unhappy with the installation, not one of the company personnel came to view the work. They would only send the installer. That in itself should show you how much they care about their customers. I currently have another property that needs 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room and den carpeted but would never consider using Mike's.
