        BUYER BEWARE: Today I made a reservation for one night peak season (end of July) and the room rate was listed as $388. So I booked it. After I booked it my credit card was charged $725.48. The itemization said the room rate was $387.55, resort fees $58.13 and tax recovery fees & service charges were $279.80. Room rate $387.55, taxes and fees $337.93 or 87.2% (and Delaware does not have a sales tax). Thank goodness it was refundable. I cancelled immediately.

        Hidden fees for parking are absolutely ridiculous and no housekeeping in the off season. Very disappointing. Never saw anything about this on their website. Will not be back.

        Rooms: Very nice, large and comfortable. Just be careful in the shower/ bathtub. Slippery floor of the tub. Safety: Great parking and feeling good about leaving your car and any purchases kept in the car Walkability: Nice area to take a stroll to the beach Food & drinks: Breakfast very good and staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful, nice

        Everything from arrival, included breakfast, and check out was very nice. The staff in all departments were friendly and efficient. When we visit Bethany again we will stay here!!!
