I can't say I dislike this place, because I go every week. But the service is usually terrible. The staff is nice for the most part, but it can be way too slow. Once I was there with two friends and it took nearly half an hour just to place our order, and when they have a big party in the back room, you'll wait forever. The menu is great but the food preparation is inconsistent, and a restaurant can really alienate customers that way. Having said all this, though, I still like going there when I'm not in any hurry, because it's a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable.

checked online for hours,opened at 7am.when i called at 7:25 there was no cook yet, but I placed an order for p.u. and was told it would be ready in 30min.it wasn't at 45min. I ordered 2 breakfast, -scrambled eggs (not scrambled,over cooked and folded like a plain omelet) home fries (white under cooked flavorless potato cubes),corned beef hash (poor attempt at homemade),bacon (2 slices of raw soggy bacon buried under the over cooked folded eggs),thankfully the beagles where good.for two breakfast without coffee or OJ my total was $21.17,kinda steep to wait an hour for a poorly cooked meal.

Food is generally good. Service is hit or miss. I have had some average experiences with the service, but some out and out terrible service including a 1 hour wait for food at 2:00 o'clock on a Sunday! Place was only 1/3 filled. Waitress had a nasty attitude. When asked to speak to the Manager was told: "We don't need a babysitter here!" I'm done with WS for some time!

I REALLY wanted to like this place. My husband and I went during breakfast time, and the food was just okay. It was slightly more expensive than I would have prefered for being bland and simple. What really upset me is the so-called "freshly baked muffin" that my husband got for me, he said they were boasting about how they make their baked goods fresh everyday.... yeah right!! It was a strawberry rhubarb muffin, and I didn't really notice it until I decided to eat it later in the evening, when I opened the container, this thing had hairy mold all throughout the inside.. I was completely disgusted. Against my better judgment, we went back again. Now, the scenary and concept of the cafe is good, and thats why I really wanted it to work out, however, the service was horrible. We waited over 15 minutes for the waiter to even acknowledge that we were seated, and getting our food took another 45 minutes, because their was "confusion in the kitchen". They didn't even offer to comp us for time waited or poor service. Long story short, I will never go back.
