I was having trouble with my rear gears shifting. I just stopped by and they looked at it right away, quickly figured out what was happening and in fifteen minutes I left with everything working perfectly. The best part of this is that they only charged me $10.00

Was recommended by another shop that didn't have a helmet that fit. That shop is great as well! So it was Clark cycles, sad to see them gone. But had a great experience and purchased a few things. I had a few issues with my bike on a ride and the salesman came out and rode it and gave me some tips. Great conversation. Definitely a stop if your in the area. Felt very comfortable like talking with an old friend.

I desperately want to give the shop less than three stars, but bear with me. We purchased a used bike for my daughter upon closer inspection. The tire had a bald spot. The front brake wasnt working, and the rear brake was rubbing against the rim. We also found out that one of the rims was bent. So for this particular shop in Willimantic, I found that this was not the best place to get a used bike. We identified the issues and took it to pedal power in Vernon (we were near there when we identified the brake issue). We had only identified one of the many issues, but Steve at the shop in Vernon identified all the other issues and repaired it on the spot so although I dont think we will personally be going back to the Willimantic shop, Pedal Power has a great reputation on making things right and they did with us so I highly recommend the Vernon location. More variety too!
