Nelly's Hair Salon

Very disappointed. Tried this place a few times. My son's first cut was very good, the second cut both times by Nelly herself was awful. Same for me, I spent 75/- for an awful cut.  The hair on one side was longer than on the other. Two of the three times, Nelly was late at the appointments. Twice I had to call her that I had my appointment, and the salon was closed,  I waited outside for 10/15 minutes while she came. I wanted to give her a chance as it was COVID, and she runs a small business. She is nice, but seems like a careless approach towards running a business.

I bought a Groupon for a cut and color at this salon. After three days of calling during business hours and getting no answer or voicemail, the owner finally picked up the phone. I made an appointment for 1:30 pm.  When I get to the salon, she is waiting outside and has lost her keys to open the salon. I wait for 30 minutes while she runs home to get her keys. She said she would call me to update me. She doesn't call, i call her and she says she can't find her keys.  She seems completely nonplussed by how unprofessional all of this is.

My daughter made an appointment for her senior prom. She texted Nelly a picture of what she wanted. When she showed up on a Friday at 1:00..no one was there, door locked and lights out. My daughter called Nelly. She answered and said I cant talk now and hung up. A few days later we stopped in to see Nelly. She lied and said she didnt have our #! DONT TRUST NELLY!
