        Great golf course and in good shape.

        One of the best public golf courses in Fairfield County. Unlike a town owned course that siphons off the profits and leaves players with a mediocre golf experience , Sterling is a leased course (for many years) which reinvests the profits back into the course, and it shows. For the amount of play Sterling receives, it is well maintained and a gem of a course. Nice driving range, and short game practice area. Personnel are helpful as well.

        I'm very disappointed that the non-resident rate has become increasingly very expensive. Unfortunately, I will not be renewing this year.
