Samara MedSpa Avon/Simsbury

I drive all the way from North of Boston for Samara over 2.5 hours and I have never been so happy with my face and lips! They way she injects is so different from anyone Ive ever seen and I will never go anywhere else. I wish she was closer so I could visit more often and do more things because they have everything and they create treatment plans like no other. Thank you Samara!!!!!

So I was born with no upper lip. Literally. The vermilion portion (pink part) of my upper lip curved underneath at all times. I was so self conscious of this. I went to someone else prior to finding Samara.. let me tell you, DO NOT JUST GO TO ANYONE. My lips were horrifying after this other person did them. It was such a bad experience that it took me 3 years to find someone I trusted to fix my lip and give me what I have always wanted/fix my biggest self conscious issue- my upper lip. I followed and researched Samara for years on social media. She is the best of the best. I now not only have an upper lip, but a damn amazing one that looks so natural everyone thinks I was born with it she is the best of the best and has had to fix my mistake of trying to take a good deal to get my dream lips and going to someone else prior to finding her. I am so much more confident now and love myself / my smile that much more!!! I drive over an hour to see her, and Id drive even further to see her if I had to!! Good but they will not provide any filler treatments without requiring that they first dissolve it first if you have had previous filler elsewhere. I understand this is to guarantee quality results but I got the smallest amount of lip filler (less than 0.3 mL) over 2 years ago which has dissolved on its own so I didn't want to pay an additional $600+ to have that tiny amount dissolved before paying hundreds of dollars to have them filled again.

Just a warning, as a new patient, make sure you can be there more than 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This business makes no exceptions to the policy and you will lose your deposit and you will be required to place another deposit to reschedule. I have followed Samara for quite some time and I am a huge fan of her work. I even interviewed as an RN last year for the company because of the talent that is being produced from the company. I was so excited for my appointment and thrilled to finally be taking the time and money to use on myself after spending the past three years as a nurse through covid. The day of my appointment one of my patients had an emergency that required a crisis team and then I subsequently hit into traffic resulting from a three car pileup on the way in. I contacted the office thirty minutes before I was scheduled to explain the situation and notify them I would be six minutes late for my service (mind you, this is six minutes late for 15 minutes before my scheduled time, and I had completed the pre-appointment paperwork online days before my service) and I was told that she would not be taking me and I would be losing my $100 deposit. It was disappointing and I have no intention of putting down another $100 to reschedule. If the 15 minute rule is so concrete for new patients, the business should schedule a new patient service for the required time needed. The lack of empathy and understanding that their patients are human and things can come up was disturbing. The talent is there, however dont be late for any reason.

Samara and Melissa are wonderful! They are welcoming and caring. They know how to analyze your face structure to determine the right shape for lip injections. The experience was amazing!!
